Raikkonen 'couldn't control the throttle'
Kimi Raikkonen lost an almost certain podium finish today when he spun his Ferrari on his out lap after his first pit stop. The Finn says he's not entirely sure what was going on when it happened. 'Not the result that we wanted,' said Raikkonen after losing out to Valtteri Bottas as a result of the spin. 'The spin is exactly the same story as last year.' Raikkonen struggled with power application with last year's more uncontrollable Ferrari torque in the older power units. One of the most obvious signs of this was during last year's Canadian Grand Prix when he spun in the same place.
