Hamilton secures Canadian GP pole position
Lewis Hamilton stormed to pole position for Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix, finishing the final segment of qualifying three tenths clear of his team-mate Nico Rosberg. The first segment of qualifying got off to a busy start following a disrupted third practice session. Conditions were warm and dry, with the sun shining at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve – contrasting heavily with Friday afternoon's torrential rain.
