Alonso: Difficult to make steps forward
Fernando Alonso says it will be difficult for McLaren to make steps forward in final practice for the Canadian Grand Prix, ahead of qualifying and the race. The Spaniard finished Friday's two practice sessions in ninth and 15th respectively. It was a productive day and Alonso was happy with the balance of his car, but he believes the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve does not suit the MP4-30. 'The rain didn’t affect too much our FP2 programme, as we could go through most of it in the first part of the session,' he said after wet weather hit the second session.
