Briatore insists Alonso is happy at McLaren

Former team boss Flavio Briatore has scoffed at claims that Fernando Alonso is starting to feeling the pressure of his move to McLaren-Honda, and insists the Spaniard is happy where he is despite the lack of results. Undoubtedly, the trajectory of the Spaniard's F1 career has been mixed at best since he dominated with Renault a decade ago. He got caught up in the ‘spy' and ‘crash'-gate scandals at McLaren and Renault, tried and failed for five years to win a title in red, and has now returned to McLaren where the new works Honda era is struggling to get up to speed.
