Button says he exaggerated McLaren’s woes
Following ten days, claiming he was scared to drive his McLaren-Honda at the Spanish GP, Jenson Button was back behind the wheel on Thursday practice to claim 12th and 15th place in first and second practice respectively for the Monaco GP. In the opening practice session, the Brit emerged late, 55 minutes into the 90-minutes session, to make a perfect lap-time. His teammate Fernando Alonso was 11th. Earlier Button had clarified his comments about driving the car at the Circuit de Catalunya where he said his car was so unpredictable it was 'scary' to drive.
