Pirelli's brand new super-soft to make debut in Monaco
Pirelli are bringing their two softest compound tyres to Monte Carlo, including their brand new super-soft compound which makes its 2015 debut this weekend. Monaco's track surface is the least abrasive of the year, a fact contributed to by the lack of track running on Friday, meaning less rubber is put down on the street surface. Combined with low average speeds and an emphasis on mechanical grip as opposed to aerodynamic, the low degradation nature of the circuit means that Pirelli have put forward their two softest compounds for Monaco: the yellow marked soft tyres and the red marked super-softs, which haven't been used at any point so far at a Grand Prix this year.
