Alonso to miss Spanish GP?

The local hero, McLaren-Honda speedy out on the circuit for third practice session, but is Fernando Alonso's misfortune at the Circuit de Catalunya set to continue? The Times News reports that the Spaniard is currently recovering from an inflammation of his eye, which could even rule him out of Sunday's race if he is not deemed fit enough by doctors. The Times says, Alonso was able to take part in practice yesterday for tomorrow’s Spanish Grand Prix. In between sessions, though, ice packs were applied to his swollen eye in an attempt to help the infection to subside before the start of qualifying today.
