Hamilton Tops FP2 in Barcelona – FP2 Report
Lewis Hamilton responded to team mate Nico Rosberg's first practice session by topping the time sheets in second practice. Mercedes again set the pace with the Ferrari being their only competition on the time sheets – dividing the Mercedes despite a split tyre strategy by the Italian team with Vettel being on hard compounds for the majority of the session. In a significantly warmer afternoon session, the drivers reported a track that differed greatly from Friday morning's free practice and indeed pre season testing on this track.
