Hulkenberg finishes sixth for Porsche on WEC debut
Nico Hulkenberg enjoyed a successful debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship on Saturday by fighting back to finish sixth in the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. Racing alongside Earl Bamber and Nick Tandy in the #19 Porsche 919 Hybrid, Hulkenberg qualified in second place on Friday as part of a 1-2-3 lockout for the German marque at the front of the grid. Tandy took the start in the #19, but soon returned to the pits following a run-in with Porsche GT driver Kevin Estre that left the Briton in the wall and with damage to the front of the car.
