Williams: ‘We can compete with Ferrari'

In the wake of the Grove outfit releasing a 2014 balance sheet that saw it far in the red, deputy team principal Claire Williams revealed that Ferrari committed her side's entire budget just to overhaul their under-performing 2014 car between seasons. 'Ferrari were plowing in 100 million pounds into their development over the winter on top of what they had already allocated,' Williams said. 'Unfortunately with Ferrari doing the job they have done, it’s made it a lot harder for us to penetrate [into podium positions].'
