Van der Garde's manager downplays Manor talk

– Giedo van der Garde's management team has played down talk of a return to Formula 1 with Manor Marussia, insisting that although the outfit has made contact, the Dutchman's focus now lies elsewhere.According to the rumours, van der Garde was being considered to drive for the team from the Monaco Grand Prix onwards, with Roberto Merhi's initial deal only covering the "opening rounds" of the season.But when questioned over the matter by GPUpdate.net on Friday, van der Garde's manager made clear that securing a competitive seat in either DTM or endurance racing for the 2016 season remains the priority."We are aware that Manor is looking for an experienced driver.
