Button out before start of Bahrain Grand Prix

Jenson Button will not compete in today's Bahrain Grand Prix owing to an electrical problem. The 35-year-old has had an array of problems during the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, being unable to complete FP1, and having limited running in FP2. His problems continued when his car limped off the circuit during qualifying with an electrical issue, and it was confirmed during the race build-up that he would not make the start of the race due to electrical troubles. It is not yet known if the qualifying and pre-race issues are related. We will update this article with the latest news as we have it.
