Daniel Ricciardo: “I think seventh is respectable”

The Infiniti Red Bull Racing duo of Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat had two very different qualifying sessions in Bahrain for Sunday’s Grand Prix, with the Australian qualifying seventh and the Russian seventeenth. Ricciardo had a pretty strong qualifying session, ending up seventh fastest, and was happy with his evening’s work. He hopes to be able to stick with the Williams duo ahead of him in the race on Sunday and score a good haul of points for the team.
