Hamilton edges Rosberg for Shanghai pole

eigning World Champion Lewis Hamilton narrowly got the better of Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg to claim pole position for the Chinese Grand Prix, with Ferrari rival Sebastian Vettel a distant third.Hamilton opened the top 10 shootout with a rapid 1:35.782, though failed to improve on his second run, giving Rosberg a shot at pole.But Rosberg just missed out on the top spot, getting to within half a tenth of a second of Hamilton after a particularly strong final sector.Vettel, who converted a front row start into victory in Malaysia, had to make do with third position, nine tenths off the ultimate pace.Ferrari team-mate Kimi Räikkönen finished back in sixth, enduring a scruffy final lap...
