Palmer set for second FP1 outing in Bahrain
After making his F1 race weekend debut in first practice for the Chinese Grand Prix, Jolyon Palmer will return to the track for Lotus in Bahrain. The 2014 GP2 champion replaced Romain Grosjean at the Shanghai International Circuit and finished 15th fastest, completing 25 laps in total. He was pleased with his performance in FP1 for the Chinese Grand Prix, despite an early spin at the exit of Turn 8. Palmer will drive in a number of other first practice sessions in 2015, as part of his role as Lotus F1's reserve driver. The Englishman confirmed on Twitter that he will be back out on track at the wheel of the Mercedes-powered E23 Hybrid next time out at the Bahrain International Circuit. Good...
