Smedley expecting step up in performance from Williams

Williams' Rob Smedley says that upgrades being brought to China should help Williams catch up to Ferrari & Mercedes. Heading into this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix, Williams have been left somewhat disappointed after two outings that suggested they have lost some of their relative competitiveness. In both the Australian & Malaysian Grands Prix, it appeared to be Ferrari that were bringing the fight to Mercedes, with Williams not quite able to join in. Having finished 2014 with a double podium in Abu Dhabi with a race performance almost good enough to challenge for the win, Valtteri Bottas has hinted that Williams now lack outright race pace.
