Max Verstappen equalled his dad’s best-ever grid position
17-year-old Max Verstappen proved he is a threat to F1’s best by qualifying an extraordinary sixth for the Malaysian Grand Prix. In just his second race, he has equaled his dad's best-ever grid position when Jos started from sixth at the 1994 Belgian GP for Benetton. 'I'm very happy, it was a good session this afternoon, especially Q3.” Max said. “In Q1 and Q2 I wasn't totally comfortable with the car, but we had a good end of Q2.
