Renault issues threat to quit Formula 1

– Renault Managing Director Cyril Abiteboul says that the French company could pull out of Formula 1 - with Red Bull's Christian Horner adding that such a move could force the energy drinks giant out of the sport as well.Renault has endured a problematic period since Formula 1's switch to V6 power units, with relations between the company and Red Bull increasingly strained as they struggle to match Mercedes.But when questioned about the possibility that Renault could buy into Toro Rosso, Abiteboul raised the prospect that the manufacturer could withdraw from the sport altogether."I can confirm that we are looking at a lot of options, including getting out of Formula 1,"...
