Hamilton recovers to top time sheets – FP2 Report

The threat of rain had managed to hold off for the start of the second practice session. The risk of rain striking was down to about 20%, but it was a typically hot and humid session in Kuala Lumpur. After managing to run for the first time in their short life, Will Stevens and the Manor team were patiently queueing at the end of the pit lane. Also out of the early was Ferrari, with the pair of Sebastien Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen taking an early one-two on the leaderboard. Vettel’s early best of 1:40.652 was already better than his best in FP1. There were early problems for Lotus and Pastor Maldonado.
