Adrian Sutil named as Williams reserve driver

Williams Martini Racing has announced that Adrian Sutil is to become its official reserve driver for the 2015 Formula 1 World Championship season. The experienced German made his F1 debut with Spyker in 2007 and has made 128 starts across seven seasons since then, though he was left without a seat for 2015 when he was dropped by the Sauber team after failing to score a point in 2014. Nonetheless, Sutil will remain involved in F1 as Williams' official reserve driver for the remainder of the 2015 season, the 32 year-old set to spend time in the team's simulator to help him acclimatise to the car should he be called up.
