Alonso recalls sense of "heavy" steering in crash
McLaren will fit a new sensor to its Formula One car from the Malaysian Grand Prix, after revealing Fernando Alonso felt a sense of 'heavy' steering before his testing accident last month. McLaren had blamed a strong gust of wind for the crash that ruled Alonso out of the first race of the season after he suffered concussion due to the heavy impact against the wall. The team insists there is still no clear data that shows anything was wrong with the car, but revealed on Monday that Alonso has recalled something was not 100 percent right with the steering.
