Sauber and Giedo reach deal
Giedo van der Garde and Sauber have reached a settlement which has seen the driver's contract ended by mutual consent. The Dutchman took the Swiss team to court claiming he had a deal to drive in 2015 and successfully won cases at the Arbitration Institution in Switzerland and the Supreme Court of Victoria. Van der Garde had a seat fitting at Sauber wearing Marcus Ericsson's overalls during the Australian GP weekend, before an agreement was reached to let Ericsson and Felipe Nasr race in Melborune.
