Hockenheim rules out German GP in 2015
Red Bull/Getty Images Hockenheim has ruled itself out of running to host the German Grand Prix this year, meaning that the event is unlikely to take place in 2015. The race was originally set to take place at the Nurburgring but talks collapsed with Bernie Ecclestone and Formula 1's ringmaster turned his attentions to Hockenheim, which hosted the race in 2014 as part of its agreement with the Nurburgring. But despite Ecclestone's initial optimism, the mood has changed in recent weeks and on Tuesday the boss of Hockenheim confirmed that there would be no Formula 1 race at the track this year.
