Red Bull threaten to quit F1 over current regulations

Red Bull has threatened to quit Formula 1 if something isn't done to equalise engine performance as well as opening up the regulations to make them less restrictive and easier to understand. The threat came from Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko on Sunday following the Australian Grand Prix where Daniil Kvyat failed to start the race, and team-mate Daniel Ricciardo finished sixth following a spate of engine issues during the weekend. Team principal Christian Horner has already demanded change, whilst designer Adrian Newey has blamed Renault for their performance deficit to Mercedes.
