Walk in the park for Hamilton and Mercedes

Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes began the defence of their Formula 1 world championship titles in the best manner possible by dominating the season opening Australian Grnd Prix at Albert Park in Melbourne. Starting from pole Hamilton controlled the race, leading from lights to chequered flag (apart from a brief spell during the single pit stop window) and kept his teammate Nico Rosberg at bay to take victory. Rosberg stalked his teammate throughout the race but each time he showed his hand, Hamilton had an answer.
