Hamilton storms to Aus GP Victory

An imperious Lewis Hamilton opened his 2015 points account in Australia with a dominating win over a reduced Formula One grid. And then there were fifteen… Following on from the non-staring Manor’s and late scrapping of Valtteri Bottas (due to a lower back injury), Kevin Magnussen’s Honda unit expired leaving the pits. Likewise, Daniil Kvyat’s RB11 gave up the ghost on the installation lap. With rain overnight, the track was green again, but with oil from Magnussen’s McLaren trailing off-line through the first few corners.
