Hamilton praises 'best ever' car after pole

Mercedes AMG Petronas World Champion Lewis Hamilton praised his Mercedes team and labelled the W06 Hybrid as the best car he's driven after he surged to pole position in Australia. Hamilton beat team-mate Nico Rosberg by 0.594s, with Williams' Felipe Massa the fastest non-Mercedes driver, 1.3s behind the defending champion. "It’s been a good day, Q1 didn’t start out too good but it got good at the end of it," Hamilton told reporters in Australia.
