Sauber responds as van der Garde drops legal case

Sauber says it will continue 'constructive talks' with Giedo van der Garde to find a solution to its bitter legal battle after the Dutchman dropped his bid to race in the Australian Grand Prix. van der Garde had been pursuing the opportunity to race at Albert Park as per an original agreement with Sauber to procure a full-time race drive for 2015. When Sauber proceeded to sign Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr, van der Garde took Sauber to the Supreme Court and won, leaving the team with three contracted drivers and two race seats.
