Van der Garde case to continue on Saturday

Sutton Images Enlarge The legal battle between Giedo van der Garde and Sauber will rumble on into Saturday morning, though "constructive discussions" have taken place between both parties. Van der Garde has been granted the legal right to drive for Sauber at the Australian Grand Prix this weekend but did not take to the track on Friday due to a lack of a superlicence. In the afternoon the Supreme Court of Victoria was due to decide whether Sauber was in contempt of court for not taking the necessary steps to ensure van der Garde could drive this weekend.
