Maldonado: Certainly we will be in the fight!

Pastor Maldonado joined Lotus at the start of 2014 thinking the team would propel him to the front end of the grid after their great season in 2013, but it all went pear shaped for the Venezuelan as the E22 was a dog and he was relegated to back-marker. Heading to the 2015 season opener in Melbourne he is oozing confidence after a most encouraging winter test season for the team, and he expects with the Mercedes power unit bolted on to the back of the handy E23, things will be different.
