Chilton joins Nissan WEC squad

Former Marussia F1 driver Max Chilton has joined Nissan in the World Endurance Championship. Max's former F1 team Marussia appear to be on the verge of returning to Formula 1 this year under the name Manor F1 Team, but Chilton was left in a very precarious situation at the end of 2014. With no future certain for the team, Max opted to do what was best for his own interests, and joined Carlin Motorsport in a development capacity in the Indy Lights Series. He has already tested for the team, who are aiming to join the Indy Racing League fully in 2016.
