Brake-related issue caused Maldonado’s crash at Barcelona
Lotus F1 confirms that, brake-related problem caused Pastor Maldonado’s crash during the final day of pre-season testing at Barcelona. The Venezuelan hit the side wall on the outer of the Turn 4 just after the lunch-break and this crash damaged front wing and front suspension of the E23, following Lotus decided to end the day.
