McLaren might not be competitive until May, says Boullier

+ Eric Boullier admits that McLaren might struggle to extract the maximum potential out its new Honda-powered car until the start of the European season in May. McLaren has completed just 310 laps so far this winter – the lowest tally of any team  – and managed just 39 laps on Saturday in Barcelona before the team encountered an oil leak which cut short its test programme for the day. With just a single day left of testing ahead of the start of the 2015 season, Boullier fears the Woking-based squad could be playing catch up until May’s Spanish Grand Prix. “We won’t be as ready as we would like but we will do our best, obviously,” the McLaren racing director told...
