Dennis: Teams Financial Need Self Discipline Not Cost Cutting
In the continued debate about how smaller teams can survive in F1, Ron Dennis has added some outspoken comments against cost cutting, instead saying that smaller teams need to practice financial self restraint. After seeing two teams lost to the grid at the end of last season and without firm confirmation that Manor will make the 2015 races, this adds to the ammunition from the smaller teams that the members of the strategy group are unsympathetic to the problems they face. Sauber's Monisha Kaltenborn has been very pro active and outspoken about the barriers placed in the way of effective cost control and equitable distribution of prize monies.
