F1: Hamilton, Ricciardo up for Laureus Sports Awards

Lewis Hamilton, the AMG Mercedes F1 team and Daniel Ricciardo will go up against the best in the world of sport after being nominated for Laureus Sport Awards. A year after Sebastian Vettel clinched the World Sportsman of the Year trophy, his successor to the F1 title Hamilton has been included amongst the nominations after clinching his second world title. He is up against stiff opposition, however, including Wimbledon tennis champion Novak Djokovic, new pole vault world record holder Renaud Lavillenie and Ballon d'Or world football player winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
