McLaren-Honda concludes day early

McLaren-Honda has brought its third day of F1 testing in Jerez to an early end after hitting more technical issues, though Fernando Alonso did complete more than 30 laps before doing so. With all eyes on the team after completing just six slow laps on each of the opening two days, Alonso was out early this morning and proceeded to notch up decent running throughout the morning, topping out at 32 laps before lunchtime. However, after a lengthy spell in the garage, McLaren has confirmed the MP4-30 has developed a loss of cooling pressure and the time needed to repair it means it won't get out on track for the remainder of the day.
