Horner: New Red Bull car not ready yet
+ Christian Horner has admitted that Red Bull is still yet to finish preparing its 2015 Formula 1 car, but insists it will be ready ahead of testing in Jerez.
After the team was soundly beaten by Mercedes in 2015, Red Bull opted to extend the development time of its 2015 car in an effort to cut the gap to its rivals, delaying the build of its new challenger.
Pre-season testing kicks off at Jerez in just four days time, but despite leaving it late, Red Bull boss Horner is confident the team will have the RB11 ready ahead of its scheduled debut on Sunday.
“The car is not ready yet,” Horner told reporters at a media event on Tuesday. “We are flat out into car build at the moment....
