Ferrari calls for Formula 1 'revolution'

Scuderia Ferrari Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene believes that Formula 1 needs to undergo a revolution in order to increase the popularity of the sport. Arrivabene, who replaced Marco Mattiacci at the squad, reckons leading figures in the sport have a duty to carry out changes and backed calls made by Niki Lauda that Formula 1 should be more spectacular. "I share Niki’s view that Formula 1 needs to be more spectacular and I believe that the risk he evokes of the sport losing fans is something that has unfortunately already happened," Arrivabene said in an interview with Ferrari's official website.
