Clock ticking on Marussia comeback

Sutton Images Enlarge Former Marussia boss Graeme Lowdon admits the team's hopes of returning to the grid in 2015 will be gone completely if a second auction of its assets goes ahead this week. Marussia went into administration last October and missed the last three races before being liquidated. A team under the name of 'Manor F1' remains on the provisional entry list for 2015 but a return seemed unlikely in December when Marussia auctioned off assets. An auction of key equipment is set for Wednesday and Lowdon has no doubts what it would mean for Marussia if it went ahead.
