Nurburgring yet to secure 2015 German GP contract
Associated Press Enlarge The venue of the 2015 German Grand Prix is still uncertain after the CEO of the Nurburgring confirmed a deal is not yet in place for the circuit to host this year's race. The German Grand Prix alternates between Hockenheim and Nurburgring and the 2015 edition is scheduled to be held at the latter. The Nurburgring has suffered financial trouble for many years, with Bernie Ecclestone even making an attempt to buy the circuit last year. Circuit CEO Carsten Schumacher is hopeful a new deal can be sorted out but remains wary of the rising costs affiliated with hosting a race on the Formula One calendar.
