Schumacher still faces 'hard fight' one year on
Press Association Enlarge Michael Schumacher still faces a long journey to recovery from the injuries sustained in a skiing accident one year ago, according to his manager. Schumacher was put in an induced coma last year after a skiing accident on December 29 left him fighting for his life. The seven-time world champion left hospital to return home in September where he continues to recieve medical care. A recent French newspaper report said Schumacher was making good progress based on quotes from former F1 driver Philippe Streiff, who was paralysed in a 1989 testing crash.
