Steve Nielsen appointed sporting manager at Williams
Williams has confirmed that former Toro Rosso sporting director Steve Nielsen has joined the team in the role of sporting manager ahead of the 2015 Formula 1 season.
Nielsen's departure from Toro Rosso after two seasons was confirmed on Friday, allowing him to secure a move to Williams that was confirmed today by the team.
'I’m delighted to be joining a team of Williams’ history and stature in what is a very exciting time for everyone at Grove after a very impressive 2014 season,' Nielsen said.
