Double points scrapped for 2015

The FIA have confirmed double points at the season finale will be scrapped in 2015 as part of a raft of rule changes approved at the World Motor Sport Council meeting in Doha.The decision to award double points in Abu Dhabi this year provoked outrage amongst F1 fans and, whilst it didn't influence the championship outcome, has been scrapped after just one season.After successful trials after practice sessions in 2014, a Virtual Safety Car will be introduced next year.
