Hamilton passes Alonso's achievements in F1
Having arrived in Formula One six years after Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton has already surpassed the achievements of his former teammate. The Briton clinched his second title this season putting him on par with 15 other multiple world champions, including the Spaniard. What’s more significant is that Hamilton, in his eight seasons in F1, has now one more race victory than Alonso has accrued in his 13 years in the sport. And with the 33-year-old Alonso set to switch into an unknown at McLaren with the returning Honda, the Spaniard may be set for another barren campaign while Hamilton, 29, is likely to move up to third in the all-time race win list as Mercedes has already been...
