Valtteri Bottas driving a Williams set the pace on the first day of the 2014 season's final Formula 1 test in Abu Dhabi, but on the day McLaren's second Honda powered era got off to a disappointing start
Bottas – who finished second in the grand prix at Yas Marina on Sunday – hit the front early on and spent most of the day at the top of the timing screens,. In the final quarter hour he blitzed round in 1:43.396, the fastest lap of the day.
