Hamilton edges Rosberg in first practice
– Lewis Hamilton edged out Mercedes team-mate and championship rival Nico Rosberg during first practice for the title-deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.Hamilton produced a 1:43.476 on Pirelli's Soft tyre during the final 30 minutes of the session, putting him 0.133s clear of Rosberg.Fernando Alonso was the best of the rest as his final weekend as a Ferrari driver got underway, albeit the best part of two seconds off the pace.Sebastian Vettel, switching from Red Bull to replace the Spaniard, posted the fourth fastest time, ahead of team-mate Daniel Ricciardo.Toro Rosso again displayed early promise, with Jean-Éric Vergne and Daniil Kvyat separated by little more than one tenth in sixth...
