Ocon gets Friday practice drive
Lotus F1 Team Enlarge European F3 champion Esteban Ocon will drive for Lotus in first practice at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Ocon tested a two-year-old Lotus in Valencia last month in order to attain a super-licence to take part in an F1 practice session. Ocon is managed by Gravity, which is owned by Lotus boss Gerard Lopez and his company Genii Capital. "It is a fantastic opportunity for me to drive in my first session at a grand prix and I am tremendously grateful to Lotus F1 Team and Gravity Sport Management," he said.
