One Year Rewind – Vettel domination in Abu Dhabi
+ After winning the 2013 drivers’ title at the previous round in India, Sebastian Vettel dominated last year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit.
The German failed to secure pole position in qualifying, losing out to his team-mate Mark Webber. He lined up second on the grid, with Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Hulkenberg next up.
Kimi Raikkonen originally qualified fifth but he dropped to the back after his car failed a floor deflection test. Romain Grosjean, Felipe Massa, Sergio Perez, Daniel Ricciardo and Fernando Alonso completed the top 10.
