Lotus use practice at Yas to test 2015 components

Nick Chester Lotus will use free practice for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix season finale to test components for their E23 with the 2015 Formula 1 season in mind. Speaking ahead of the Yas Marina technical director Nick Chester said, 'We will carry on our programme which is geared towards next year. We’re looking at evaluating a new steering wheel with a larger display and there will be some bodywork changes that the eagle-eyed might notice.' The race will also mark the end of a long and at times very fruitful association between the Enstone based team and Renault, as from 2015 onwards Lotus will be Mercedes powered.
