F1: McLaren learned a lot from Austin

McLaren racing director Eric Boullier says the team “learned a lot” about the way its car works during the United States Grand Prix. Kevin Magnussen finished eighth while Jenson Button faded late in the race to end up outside the points on a difficult day for McLaren in Austin. However, Boullier says there was a lot learned during the race which the team will try to take advantage off immediately as the Brazilian Grand Prix follows this weekend. “Austin was a tricky race for us, but we learned a lot from the behaviour of our car, so we must regroup and go to Interlagos with renewed motivation,” Boullier said. “Brazil is the last race of the season to be run under the standard...
